Can’t host your live event anymore? No problem! The UBU platform offers everything you need to sell tickets, live stream your event, AND offer your fans and customers instant cashback rewards at a host of stores listed in the UBU Marketplace.
Recently, UBU partnered with Francois van Coke in a first for South Africa. His concert, Francois van Coke Live & Unplugged, held at Loftus Park could only be attended by 250 people in an outdoor venue that can host 2800 people. But, the show was simultaneously live-streamed to hundreds of fans around the country, and the globe, giving everyone who could not attend the chance to still enjoy the show from the comfort of their homes.
Both the outdoor and the live streaming events was a massive success. Shows can be cast via your phone to your laptop, computer, or big screen TV.
Tickets were on sale via the newly launch Van Coke Wallet. Each of the Wallets on the platform also hosts the UBU Marketplace – a huge variety of listed stores from which live streaming customers can also shop and earn instant cashback rewards.
Comments on his Facebook page came rolling in after the show with everyone being super impressed at the brilliant quality of the live stream. Van Coke fans were also delighted to be able to share in the event from home.
Here are just a few of the comments:
“Wish we could have watched live in Pretoria. But at least we could watch the live stream here in Bethlehem. Awesome show awesome band. Can’t wait to see what 2021 holds.“
“Was my yesterday. I stream it – a braai and a live show! It was amazing. Thank you!”
“Once again a wonderful show. Of all the online shows I’ve bought tickets for, yours was the best. Easily accessible and problem free… You’re Vantastic!”
If you’re a celebrity or performer we could be doing the same for you! Live streaming is not limited to concerts and entertainment, though. And, it’s going to be the new normal for quite some time until we can all gather at live events again. Schools and educational institutions, churches and other religious congregations, and the conferencing and events industries are all taking advantage of live streaming technology.
